


Since that time, enough improvements and additions have been made to the game that it's been turned into a stand alone game in the Real War franchise. So the go ahead was given to the expansion of Real War after testing showed that they could probably make a good deal of money off of one. In the ballpark of 300,000 copies were sold, making the low budget game a monetary success in the eyes of the publisher Simon & Schuster. It did however manage to sell a whole lot of copies despite all of that. Real War didn't exactly come out to fanfare and critical success.
